Stephanie Mckenna

Customer Service Assistant

WHY I HAVE A ROLE THAT MATTERS

I’ve worked for Bank of Scotland for ten years and was so excited when I received my contract through the post. I wanted a job where I could work in an interesting and fast paced environment with the chance to progress. Bank of Scotland is a well known brand with great connections with the local community. Every year we nominate a charity of the year and raise funds for them. Each colleague now also has the chance to use one of their working days as a day to make a difference in the local community. This is great opportunity for me as I have a passion for helping others and love working as part of a team.

A DAY IN MY ROLE

Every day is different in the Customer Service Adviser role as we’re multi-skilled so everyone is able to do a variety of roles. Some days I will be serving at the counter while other days I will be in the Banking Hall assisting customers with any enquiries they have.

PREPARING TO JOIN

My advice for anyone thinking of applying for a role within Bank of Scotland is to go for it. It’s a great place to work; you get to meet people from lots of different backgrounds. You also get a real sense of job satisfaction knowing that you’re able to help people on a multitude of levels. No two days are the same which makes this role varied and interesting.
